Since his early days, Leonard has demonstrated remarkable maturity and discipline. He manages to balance demanding training sessions with his academic responsibilities while staying focused on his personal development. Through his exemplary attitude, he has become a true role model for his entire team. His unwavering determination has propelled him to the top of the regional rankings and earned him the respect and admiration of skiers across the province. In his first year in the U16 category, Léo tied for first place in the regional rankings and established himself as the best slalom racer in his age group at the national championships.
The 2024-25 season confirmed and amplified this progress. Léonard won four gold medals, one silver, and two bronze, demonstrating exceptional consistency and mastery. He placed second in the U16 Criterium, achieved two top 10 finishes, and won the skills competition at the Eastern Championships. His commitment and performance also earned him the title of Athlete of the Year, both within the Mont Ste-Marie club and for the Outaouais region.
